This casual game app offers a fun, brain-teasing experience, playable solo or with a friend on a single smartphone! Based on the classic rock-paper-scissors, the goal is to defeat your opponent's King, similar to chess. Even shogi novices will find it easy to pick up and play. Perfect for school friends, colleagues, or anyone looking for a fun, engaging game!
Gameplay:
Rock-paper-scissors shogi uses four piece types: Goo (beats Scissors), Scissors (beats Paper), Paper (beats Goo), and King (can attack all other pieces).
-
Movement: Each piece type has unique movement restrictions. The King can move one square in any direction.
-
Attack and Placement: When you attack a piece, it's removed from the board. You can then place a new piece in its empty space. Be cautious, as attacked pieces become your opponent's!
-
Aiko (Draw): Attacking a piece of the same type results in a draw (Aiko). The attacking piece is placed on top of the opponent's piece, effectively blocking it. However, the opponent can still attack the blocked piece.
-
Level Up: Reach the other side of the board with a piece to upgrade it! The King can then move one square further.
There's no competitive mode; instead, the focus is on mastering the game's intricacies in single-player mode. About 20 stages await, challenging players to conquer them all!
This ultimate time-killer is completely free! Enjoy rock-paper-scissors shogi as a stress reliever with friends and family. Recommended for fans of board games, Othello, and chess!
