Unlock the AEK-973 Full Auto Mod in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone
The Terminator event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing Full Auto mod for the AEK-973 marksman rifle, breathing new life into this previously underperforming weapon. This guide details how to unlock this attachment in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
This limited-time attachment is obtainable during The Terminator event, running until February 20th. Post-event, it's anticipated to become available through the Armory Unlocks system.
To unlock the Full Auto mod, you'll need to collect 50 Skulls. Skulls are earned by:
- Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies: Eliminating enemies has a chance to drop skulls.
- Warzone: Opening loot caches offers a chance to find skulls.
Fastest Skull Farming Methods:
- Zombies (Round 6 Method): Activate the Rampage Inducer, play until Round 6, then quit and repeat for efficient Skull acquisition.
- Warzone Resurgence Solos: Focus on rapidly opening loot caches across the map.
Once you've accumulated 50 Skulls, redeem them for the Full Auto mod in the event tab.
Full Auto Mod Functionality:
The Full Auto mod transforms the AEK-973 from burst fire to full-auto, utilizing 5.45 ammunition at a high rate of fire. It's compatible with the 5.45 Extended Mag for up to 45 rounds per magazine.
Trade-offs: While boasting a significantly improved time-to-kill, the Full Auto mod reduces the AEK-973's damage and range. Its handling remains unchanged, meaning it retains its slow maneuverability. Consider using attachments to improve handling or utilize it as a medium-to-long-range weapon.
