Your Sinners' levels in Limbus Company are crucial for their combat effectiveness. Just like in other RPGs, leveling up your team is essential for progress and tackling challenging content. Even the best Sinner Identities won't stand a chance against underleveled enemies. This guide outlines efficient XP acquisition methods for new players.

Combat and Grinding
Early game XP primarily comes from combat. All Sinners on your team gain XP after battles, regardless of participation, though active combatants receive more. However, this method is slow, especially as challenges increase, necessitating more efficient leveling strategies.
Completing Canto 2 unlocks Luxcavation, offering challenging battles with various rewards. While these fights provide XP, the consumable items obtained are key for accelerated leveling.
Using Consumable Items
To avoid extensive grinding, utilize Level Boost Tickets and Identity Training Tickets. These consumable items directly enhance character levels, offering varying rarities and effectiveness.
Identity Training Tickets
Identity Training Tickets provide a fixed amount of Identity XP, similar to level-up materials in games like Honkai Star Rail or Genshin Impact. While effective for reducing grinding, maximizing a single character requires numerous tickets. They come in four tiers:
- Identity Training Ticket I: 50 Identity XP
- Identity Training Ticket II: 200 Identity XP
- Identity Training Ticket III: 1000 Identity XP
- Identity Training Ticket IV: 3000 Identity XP
These tickets are primarily farmed from EXP Luxcavation stages, Limbus Passes (both free and paid), and periodic attendance events.
Level Boost Tickets
Level Boost Tickets instantly raise a Sinner's Identity to a specific level, offering a significant advantage over Identity Training Tickets. However, they are rarer and primarily obtained through the Limbus Pass and occasional attendance events; they cannot be farmed. Different tickets boost to the following levels:
- Level Boost Ticket I: Level 10
- Level Boost Ticket II: Level 20
- Level Boost Ticket III: Level 30
- Level Boost Ticket IV: Level 40
Currently, Identities have a maximum level of 50. Strategically use Level Boost and Identity Training Tickets to efficiently level multiple characters.
Apply these consumables by accessing the Sinners menu and long-pressing the desired character's portrait.
