Konami developers have shared details regarding the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Series producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a polished, high-quality game that meets fan expectations.
In a recent 4Gamer interview, Okamura stated, "We are putting a lot of effort into finishing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025." He emphasized that the remake is already playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time focused on refining details and enhancing overall quality.
While PlayStation previously suggested a 2024 release, those plans were ultimately revised. Studio representatives now confirm a 2025 launch window for the remake, which will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The game promises to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura also teased new features designed to elevate the overall gameplay experience.
