Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 introduces highly anticipated S-Rank agent reruns, marking a significant shift in the game's character release strategy. Previously committed to new agent additions, Version 1.5 will feature two phases of rerun banners.
The first phase, commencing January 22nd, offers the new Ether agent, Astra Yao, alongside a rerun banner for Ellen Joe (originally from Version 1.1). This phase also includes Ellen Joe's Agent Story. Phase two, starting February 12th, presents Evelyn Chevalier and a rerun banner for Qingyi (also from Version 1.1). Both rerun banners will include the respective characters' signature W-Engines.
This change aligns Zenless Zone Zero more closely with HoYoverse's other gacha titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, which regularly feature rerun banners. The decision follows fan speculation and anticipation for rerun events.
Version 1.5 also unveils three new character outfits: "Chandelier" for Astra, "On Campus" for Ellen, and "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole. Notably, Nicole's "Cunning Cutie" outfit is a free reward from the Day of Brilliant Wishes event. This update addresses a recent leak regarding these new outfits.
