The week has been exciting for Wuthering Waves fans, following the release of version 1.4, packed with new content including the Somnoire: Illusive Realms mode and two fresh characters. But the biggest news? Version 2.0 is on the horizon, promising to be the game's most significant update yet.
This major update, announced alongside a Best Mobile Game nomination at The Game Awards 2024, marks the JRPG's highly anticipated debut on PlayStation 5. Version 2.0 will launch January 2nd across all platforms (iOS, Android, PC, and PS5).
Wuthering Waves' popularity stems from its engaging combat, rich narrative, and detailed world setting on Solaris-3, a planet divided into six nations: Huanglong, New Federation, and the soon-to-be-explored Rinascita.
The current Huanglong storyline is nearing its conclusion. Kuro Games has confirmed that version 2.0 will introduce Rinascita as a playable region, significantly expanding the game's story and gameplay. Expect version 1.4 and subsequent patches to conclude the Huanglong arc.
