World of Warcraft: The War Within - Patch 11.1 Prologue and Dalaran Epilogue Guide
The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues! Beyond the Siren Isle update and the anticipated Season 2 launch in late 2025 (bringing new endgame content), Patch 11.0.7 introduces key story quests. These quests lay the groundwork for Patch 11.1, focusing on the Goblin capital, Undermine, and concluding the tragic tale of Dalaran's destruction. Note that the Dalaran Epilogue wasn't immediately available upon patch launch.
Updated January 7, 2025: The recently added campaign quests mark a significant turning point. Dalaran, a long-standing location in Warcraft lore, may not recover from the events of The War Within. The Dalaran Epilogue provides closure to this storyline and a fitting farewell to a crucial social hub in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

Accessing the Patch 11.1 Prologue: Lingering Shadows
Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign is immediately accessible. Completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaigns isn't required, though doing so beforehand provides context and avoids spoilers. The questline includes:

- Ringing in the Deeps

Unlocking the Dalaran Epilogue
The Dalaran Epilogue initially had a three-week delay. As of January 7th, 2025, this restriction is lifted. However, you must complete both the leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions) to unlock it.
Check Foundation Hall (where Patch 11.1 prologue quests begin). If Khadgar is present (after January 7th), you can receive his quest. If not, you need to finish remaining campaign quests.
