After removing your Source collar, your goal is to get the Lady Vengeance underway. This isn't done through conventional means; you must discover a unique method. Explore the ship, interact with NPCs, and gather clues. The key is accessing Magister Dallis' cabin and the Ancient Empire Songbook within.
Investigate Dead Bodies
Search the bodies of the deceased magisters and ghouls on deck. A Sodden Diary found on one corpse provides a password for a stateroom door. You can also obtain the password via a skill check with the northern stateroom door. In addition to the password, you'll need a Strange Gem to interact with the Portside Stateroom door. A magic mirror near the stateroom doors allows for respeccing characters and companions, useful if you attempt the skill check.
Find the Portside Stateroom Door
Using the password from the diary (or skill check), access the ship's quarters. Interact with the unconscious Bishop Alexander to find a Strange Gem within his regalia. This gem is required to interact with the Portside Stateroom door. Use the password ("Fortitude") on the southern stateroom door to gain access to Magister Dallis' cabin. This cabin also contains a hidden hatch with two ghouls and a Teleportation Prism.
Find the Ancient Empire Songbook
Inside Dallis' cabin, you'll find Tarquin. Speak with Dallis extensively before searching. The Ancient Empire Songbook is located on a pedestal in the center of the cabin. Reading it reveals the cryptic song. It's advisable to speak to all NPCs before setting sail, as this opportunity is lost once the ship departs.
Getting the Ship Sailing
After reading the songbook, return to the deck and speak to Malady. She'll ask you to sing the song to the ship. Locate the dragon figurine on the west side of the deck. Interact with it and choose to sing the song. The Lady Vengeance will begin to move. A challenging battle against powerful magisters will immediately follow, so ensure your party is adequately prepared.
