World of Warcraft's New 6-Month Subscription Rewards: Timbered Sky Snake & More!
World of Warcraft is offering exciting new in-game rewards for players who subscribe for six months or more! The highlight is the majestic Timbered Sky Snake mount for modern WoW and the adorable Timbered Air Snakelet pet for Classic WoW. These items, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, are available to subscribers by January 31, 2025, with redemption required before January 31, 2026.
This tradition of bonus in-game items for longer subscriptions, started in 2018, continues with a new reward set each January and July, often themed around the lunar zodiac. Last year's Auspicious Arborwyrm (Year of the Wood Dragon) was a popular choice.
The Timbered Sky Snake is a flying mount for World of Warcraft: War Within, while the Timbered Air Snakelet is its smaller, pet counterpart for Cataclysm Classic. While these can be purchased individually from the in-game store ($25 for the mount, $10 for the pet), the subscription offer provides a significant value. Note that the Timbered Sky Snakelet pet for modern WoW is available separately for $10 but isn't included in the subscription bundle.
