Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

Reaching the Garbage zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl requires venturing far from your starting base. Accessing key traders within this area isn't immediate; story progression is necessary.

The Slag Heap, a central hub, becomes accessible after completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest. This questline directs you through the Detention Center and Laboratory before a meeting with Scar. While the game guides you to the Slag Heap afterward, it's located north of the laboratory and can be visited earlier.

Two traders operate within the Slag Heap:

• Boozer: Situated at the entrance, Boozer runs the bar, selling food and drinks while also accepting various items for trade. He's easily located.

• Huron: Found by heading left and entering the open door on your right, Huron specializes in weapons and gear. His room also serves as your stash location, allowing you to store extra items. Interacting with Huron also initiates a side quest.

Beyond the traders, a technician resides at the back of the left corridor. A conversation with this individual, Diode, is crucial for advancing the main storyline.
