While World of Warcraft's 20th Anniversary celebration has concluded, exciting events continue to engage players awaiting Patch 11.1. The return of the Turbulent Timeways event offers a unique opportunity to earn valuable rewards. This guide details how to maximize your gains.

Turbulent Timeways Event Details

Unlike typical, more sporadic Timewalking events, Turbulent Timeways features five consecutive weeks of Timewalking dungeons (January 1st to February 25th), each week showcasing a different expansion's dungeons. The schedule is as follows:

  • Week 1: Mists of Pandaria (January 7th-14th)
  • Week 2: Warlords of Draenor (January 14th-21st)
  • Week 3: Legion (January 21st-28th)
  • Week 4: Classic (January 28th-February 4th)
  • Week 5: The Burning Crusade (February 4th-11th)
  • Week 6: Wrath of the Lich King (February 11th-18th)
  • Week 7: Cataclysm (February 18th-25th)

Completing a Timewalking dungeon grants a "Knowledge of Timeways" buff (5% increased experience from quests and monster kills), lasting two hours and persisting through death. Four stacks of this buff upgrade to "Mastery of Timeways" (30% increased experience), lasting three hours and also persisting through death. Each subsequent Timewalking dungeon completion refreshes the buff timer.

To achieve Mastery of Timeways, maintain four stacks of Knowledge of Timeways without letting them expire. Avoid extended periods of inactivity to prevent stack loss. Expiration before reaching four stacks requires restarting the process.

Turbulent Timeways Rewards

Beyond the leveling benefits, Turbulent Timeways offers significant rewards. The Sandy Shalewing mount, previously available during Dragonflight's Turbulent Timeways, returns, purchasable for 5,000 Timewarped Badges from Timewalking vendors.

Additionally, a new mount, the Timely Buzzbee, awaits players who achieve the Mastery of Timeways buff during five of the seven event weeks.
