Sword of Convallaria's Night Crimson Update: New Story, Characters, and Events!
XD Inc. has unleashed the Night Crimson update for its popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria, bringing a wave of new content just months after its initial release. Millions have already enjoyed the game on PC and mobile, and this expansion promises even more.
The update continues the Spiral of Destinies campaign, focusing on Waverun City with an exciting new investigative clue wall gameplay mechanic. This innovative feature blends tactical combat with detective work, challenging players to solve mysteries and make impactful choices under the guidance of Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad leader.
Night Crimson also introduces SP Characters – special versions of existing characters boasting unique appearances and combat skills. SP Rawiyah arrives January 3rd, followed by SP Taair on January 17th. Unlocking these SP forms grants an exclusive skill, boosting the power of both the original and SP versions.
Running alongside the new characters and storyline are limited-time events (starting December 20th) offering plentiful rewards like Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, kicking off January 3rd, allows players to exchange event points for special items to gain an advantage in battle.
This update also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the game's development, including developer messages hinting at future content and a video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actress. A new theme song, "Never Apart," is also included, featuring a Japanese version performed by Hikasa Yoko.
