Saber Interactive has reaffirmed its commitment to all previously announced projects, including the much-anticipated Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) remake, despite the lack of updates on these high-profile titles. Following the exciting announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber's Chief Creative Officer, Tim Willits, took to social media to reassure fans that every game the studio has announced remains in active development.

"Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world," Willits stated. "We are diligently working on numerous games spanning various genres. Rest assured, everything we have discussed is still in development. We will share more details on upcoming games as soon as we have exciting news to announce."

The spotlight of Willits' statement undoubtedly falls on the KOTOR remake, a project that has become one of gaming's most enigmatic endeavors. Initially announced in 2021, this eagerly awaited remake has undergone multiple ownership changes, experienced apparent development halts, and restarts, yet remains unreleased after four years.

In April 2024, Saber Interactive's CEO, Matthew Karch, confirmed that the KOTOR project moved with the studio during its separation from Embracer Group, emphasizing that it is still actively being developed. "It's clear and it's obvious that we're working on this," Karch remarked at the time. "It's been widely reported. What I will say is that the game is alive and well, and we're dedicated to making sure we exceed consumer expectations."

Willits' recent comments, nearly a year after Karch's statement, reinforce this commitment. However, despite these reassurances, no new footage or details beyond the initial announcement video have been shared with the public.

In addition to the KOTOR remake, Saber Interactive is also working on other titles, including John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival, both slated for release in 2025, though specific dates remain undisclosed. The studio is also developing a new Turok game and an untitled project based on Avatar: The Last Airbender. With the recent addition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 to their lineup, Saber Interactive continues to expand its diverse portfolio.
