The "For Science!" side quest begins within the Central Elevator area of the Chemical Plant. As you approach, you'll hear Mongoose contact Skif via radio, prompting a meeting. Inside the Central Elevator, proceed left past the conveyor belts and ascend the rusted stairs. Mongoose is on the first floor; vault the railing to initiate the conversation. He'll explain the need to activate a second device on a nearby silo, setting the quest in motion.
Reaching the Silo's Peak
After the conversation, climb to the building's roof, dispatching any rodents along the way. A room with broken windows provides access to an external walkway and ladder leading to the silos. Equip your bolt-action weapon—electro anomalies await. Proceed left along the silo's top to locate and activate the second measuring device. Activating it will trigger the arrival of Bloodsuckers. Eliminate them or cleverly evade them to return to Mongoose.
Confronting Mongoose
