Celebrate 25 years of The Sims with the return of the original games! EA and Maxis are throwing a party, and you're invited. The Sims and The Sims 2 are back on PC, remastered in the Sims: Legacy Collection and Sims 2: Legacy Collection, respectively. Available separately or together in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle for $40, these collections bring back the nostalgic charm of the early Sims experiences.
Both collections include nearly all expansions and stuff packs—The Sims 2: Legacy Collection is missing only the IKEA Home Stuff pack. As a bonus, The Sims: Legacy Collection includes the Throwback Fit Kit, while The Sims 2: Legacy Collection offers the Grunge Revival Kit.
This marks the first time in over a decade that both games have been readily accessible digitally. The Sims was initially only available on disc, making it nearly impossible to play on modern systems. While The Sims 2 had a brief resurgence with the Ultimate Collection on Origin, that was later removed. Now, with these new collections, all four main Sims titles are easily available on digital storefronts.
