Scarlet Girls Beginner's Guide – Build your Ultimate Squad of Dynamic 2D Girls

Author : Alexis Mar 21,2025

Dive into the captivating world of Scarlet Girls, a brand-new idle RPG where you command a squad of technologically enhanced mecha waifus. Set in the 119th year of the Old Euro Calendar, humanity teeters on the brink of extinction, ravaged by catastrophic events that mutated animals into powerful beings. As one of humanity's last hopes, your mission is to recruit and train these mecha girls, the Stellaris, to combat the catastromechs and restore peace to Earth. This beginner's guide will illuminate the core mechanics and game modes, accelerating your progress and account power.

Understanding Scarlet Girls' Combat Mechanics

Scarlet Girls offers a completely idle, casual combat experience. Battles unfold in a turn-based system, with allies and enemies acting according to their Speed stat. Each round concludes after all participants have taken their turns. You can deploy five characters; the convenient Quick Dispatch feature automatically optimizes your formation based on your strongest Stellaris. Simply relax and enjoy the thrilling animations accompanying each character's special abilities.

Your Stellaris utilize powerful active and passive abilities automatically. Each skill has a cooldown timer. Strategic squad building is key to maximizing your team's synergistic potential. Combat happens in real-time, with no player intervention during the battle phase. The strategy lies in the power of your deployed characters and the carefully crafted line-ups you create to amplify their strengths.

Each Stellaris belongs to one of four classes, defining their role:

  • Paladins: The tank class, boasting high armor to absorb enemy attacks and protect teammates.
  • Support: These Stellaris provide crucial healing and utility from the backline.
  • Devastator: Masters of heavy firepower, dealing devastating energy damage to enemies.
  • Assaulter: Skilled in wielding bladed weapons, specializing in physical damage.

Echo: The Gacha System of Scarlet Girls

Recruiting Stellaris is done via the gacha system, known as Echo. Stellaris come in different rarities: R, SR, SSR, and SSR+. Higher rarity generally means stronger base stats (Attack, Defense, HP) and more powerful abilities.

At launch, the "Normal Echo" banner offers R-SSR Stellaris. Use accumulated Echo tickets or Diamonds to summon. An SSR character is guaranteed within 40 summons. Each summon awards 20 Echo points; at 2000 points, you can choose a random SSR character from the four elemental banners (excluding Nebula). Check your progress on the Echo system's right-hand side. Rarity recruitment probabilities are:

  • R Stellaris: 19.979% (per individual R character)
  • SR Stellaris: 2.667% (per individual SR character)
  • SSR Stellaris: 0.133% (per individual SSR character)
  • SSR+ Stellaris: 0.010% (per individual SSR+ character)
