A 2026 Release
Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is poised to launch in 2026. Building upon the exhilarating gameplay of Returnal, this new IP will feature a unique narrative centered around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Evolving Gameplay: Come Back Stronger
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived as a separate entity to allow Returnal to stand alone. This new IP will refine and expand upon Returnal's storytelling and mechanics. While Returnal offered a constantly shifting roguelike experience, Saros introduces persistent and evolving loadouts – weapons and suits – enabling players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
