Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor: A 2025 Roadmap of New Content and Features
Get ready for a thrilling year in Hearthstone! 2025 promises a wave of exciting surprises, innovative gameplay, and fresh features. The usual lineup of expansions, Mini-Sets, and Battlegrounds seasons are on the way, and following the positive reception of the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set, Blizzard is committed to keeping the fun flowing throughout the year. What's New in the Year of the Raptor?
A major highlight is the long-awaited Arena update. In development since last year, this refresh aims to revitalize the Arena experience for both veteran and new players.
Cosmetics are getting a significant upgrade. Expect new Mythic skins and Signature cards, along with a brand-new addition: Pets! These adorable companions will be integrated into a new cosmetic acquisition system, though specifics remain under wraps for now.
The Year of the Raptor officially begins with the "Into the Emerald Dream" expansion. Card reveals commence next week, but in-game celebrations are already underway. Complete the Event Track to earn rewards including The Great Dark Beyond Epic cards, packs from the new expansion, and a Raptor Herald card.

A dynamic new game board is launching alongside the expansion. This Year of the Raptor board will remain throughout the year, receiving visual and audio updates with each subsequent expansion.
