Trainers, get ready! Pokémon GO is giving away amazing exclusive rewards during the Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 in Honolulu! This exciting event, running August 16-18, 2024, offers a fantastic opportunity to snag in-game goodies by watching the official Twitch stream.
Claiming Your Twitch Drops:
Watch 30 minutes of the official Pokémon GO World Championships Twitch stream on any of the three days. Remember to link your Twitch and Pokémon Trainer Club accounts beforehand! Minimizing the stream will pause your progress. Once you hit the 30-minute mark, a Twitch chat pop-up will alert you to claim your reward. You can claim them on the Twitch Drops Inventory Page or find your codes at rewards.pokemon.com (valid until August 26, 2024, 11:59 PM UTC).
Exclusive Rewards Breakdown:
You can earn up to three codes: two from the main stream (one per day) and one from official co-streams (August 16, 9:00 AM HST – August 19, 12:00 AM HST). These codes unlock Timed Research with unique rewards:
Day 1 Rewards:
Redeeming the Day 1 code grants access to Timed Research featuring:
- An encounter with a Sableye (Shadow Claw Fast Attack, Foul Play Charged Attack).
- An Elite Charged TM.
- Sableye caught during this research will also know Shadow Claw and Foul Play.
- Extra Candy XL (Trainers level 31+) for completing three-star Shadow Raids (Shadow Sableye may appear!).
Day 2 Rewards:
The Day 2 code unlocks Timed Research focused on building a Great League team. Choose from three team options:
Team Option 1: Dunsparce, Mantine, Pancham
Team Option 2: Galarian Weezing, Skorupi, Chespin
Team Option 3: Jigglypuff, Shellos, Inkay
You'll also get 8,500 Stardust and increased Shiny encounter rates!
