Unlock the New "Photograph" Emote in Final Fantasy XIV!
One of the most enjoyable social aspects of Final Fantasy XIV is the wide array of emotes. This guide shows you how to obtain the charming new "Photograph" emote.
A free addition from the Fujifilm Instax collaboration, the "Photograph" emote lets you simulate taking a Polaroid picture anywhere in Eorzea. Unlike many emotes requiring quests or purchases, this one is readily available after downloading Patch 7.18. No level or expansion is needed!
How to Use the "Photograph" Emote:
- Open your Emote menu (Social tab).
- Locate "Photograph" under the "General" tab.
- Select it to have your character snap a picture.
- Add it to your Favorites for easy access.
The emote works dynamically in various locations, including underwater and while mounted. It's a fun, non-continuous emote perfect for capturing memorable moments.
Patch 7.18 precedes the major Patch 7.2 release in late March, bringing exciting new content like dungeons, the Arcadion's return, and Cosmic Exploration.
