Latest Update Addressed Game-Breaking Bug

MH Wilds has now addressed bugs that limited players’ progress in the game. Monster Hunter’s official support account, Monster Hunter Status, posted on Twitter (X) on March 4, 2025 that hot fix patch Ver.1.000.04.00 is now live on all platforms.

In response to player feedback, Capcom has released a critical update for Monster Hunter Wilds. The hot fix patch Ver.1.000.04.00, announced by Monster Hunter Status on Twitter (X) on March 4, 2025, is now available across all platforms. This update tackles several bugs, including issues with the "Grill a Meal" and "Ingredient Center" features not unlocking despite meeting the necessary criteria, problems with accessing the Monster Field Guide, and a severe game-breaking bug that halted story progression in Chapter 5-2, "A World Turned Upside Down." Players are required to update the game to continue enjoying online play.

However, not all issues have been resolved in this patch. Some bugs, such as network errors when firing an SOS flare after a quest starts, and Palico's blunt weapon attacks not inflicting stun and exhaust damage, remain unaddressed. Capcom has indicated that these multiplayer-related issues will be fixed in a forthcoming update.
