Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Is Landing Soon!

Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, launching March 6th, 2025, promises a thrilling update packed with new content. Get ready for exciting new challenges, weapons, a revamped Season Pass, and the arrival of formidable monsters.

Pre-Season Treat and New Monsters

Even before Season 5 begins, a special treat awaits! Chatacabra makes its debut on February 28th, arriving in Monster Hunter Now before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Then, with the Season 5 launch, brace yourselves for the arrival of Glavenus and Arzuros.

Weapon Balance and Enhancements

Expect significant balance tweaks to weapons, aiming to increase the viability and enjoyment of every weapon type. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving its effectiveness against breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with enhanced performance, creating more satisfying combat sequences. The Guard skill also gets a much-needed boost; higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further details on these and other tweaks will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Inventory Relief and Anniversary Feature

Season 5 addresses a common player frustration: overflowing inventories. An Item Box Expansion, available as a Supply Item, will provide an extra 250 inventory slots.

Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new trading feature is introduced. Hunters can exchange special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards such as Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
