Monopoly GO! is about to take its players on an interstellar journey with its latest collaboration, Monopoly GO x Star Wars. Following the successful Marvel crossover last year, this new partnership marks one of the most significant events Scopely has introduced to the game yet.
When Is the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab?
Mark your calendars! The Monopoly GO x Star Wars event is set to launch on May 1st and will continue through July 2nd. The adventure begins with a delightful twist as PEG-E, the beloved Monopoly GO robot, gets engrossed in a Star Wars movie at Mr. M's private cinema. Her imagination transports her and her friends into the iconic Star Wars universe, shifting the game's focus from properties and hotels to the epic battle between the Jedi and the Sith, and the eternal struggle of light versus dark.
During the event, players can dive into the new Star Wars GO! sticker album, which unfolds like a comic book, reimagining the Star Wars saga through PEG-E's creative lens. The album is packed with iconic characters such as R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.
Monopoly GO's traditional events are getting a Star Wars makeover too. Expect mini-games set on Tatooine, including action-packed scenes at the Mos Espa Grand Arena. You might even witness Qui-Gon Jinn and Mr. M engaging in thrilling podracing adventures.
