The ability to "swap" or "redraw" stickers up to a certain number of times significantly improves the odds of obtaining desired stickers for completing albums. This guide has been updated to include additional methods for obtaining Swap Packs in Monopoly GO.
How Do Swap Packs Work in Monopoly GO?
Swap Packs allow you to replace any sticker within the pack. This means unwanted stickers can be traded for new ones, increasing your chances of acquiring rare and valuable additions to your collection. This could be the key to completing your Monopoly GO album!
Each Swap Pack contains four stickers: typically one five-star, two four-star, and one three-star sticker. Before claiming your stickers, you can swap up to three of them for new stickers of the same rarity tier. This is a fantastic way to eliminate duplicates and improve your chances of obtaining higher-tier stickers.
Swapping is random, so there's no guarantee of a better sticker each time. However, Swap Packs provide more control over your sticker acquisition. Remember, trading duplicate stickers with friends remains a viable option for completing your collection.
How To Get More Swap Packs in Monopoly GO?
Initially introduced as a milestone reward in Monopoly GO's first Peg-E Sticker Drop, Swap Packs are now obtainable through several avenues:
Gold Vault
The Gold Vault, the top-tier reward in the Sticker for Rewards section, offers Swap Packs as part of its prize pool. While previously costing 1,000 Stars, Scopely has reduced the price to 700 Stars. Stars are earned by collecting duplicate stickers; each duplicate, regardless of rarity, contributes to your Star total.
The Gold Vault can be opened daily (once every 24 hours) and contains:
- 500 Dice
- One Blue Sticker Pack (four stickers, one guaranteed 4-star)
- One Purple Sticker Pack (six stickers, one guaranteed 5-star)
- One Swap Pack
Minigames
Various minigames, such as Peg-E games, Treasure Hunts, and Partner Events, occasionally reward Swap Packs as milestone prizes. Successfully completing challenges or reaching specific milestones within these minigames increases your chances of winning a Swap Pack. Active participation in all available minigames is recommended.
