Get ready, Marvel Rivals players! A thrilling crossover event is bringing the iconic Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to the game as a brand-new skin.
PlayStation announced this exciting collaboration on X/Twitter, giving us a sneak peek at how NetEase Games has reimagined this classic suit for their hero shooter. This stylish Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games in the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol sets it apart, making this Marvel Rivals collaboration a truly unexpected treat from Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game. Swing into action and grab the Advanced Suit 2.0 from the in-game store starting January 30th—the same day Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on PC!
Marvel Rivals, launched in December, already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. However, this Spidey suit is truly special. Beyond its connection to the hugely popular PlayStation series, the Advanced Suit 2.0 will once again feature the voice talents of Yuri Lowenthal. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in all three of Insomniac’s Spider-Man games and also lends his voice to the Marvel Rivals version. So, when you don this suit on January 30th, expect a familiar and authentic experience as you web-sling your way to victory.
NetEase’s addition of the Advanced Suit 2.0 is another exciting piece of content for players, following the launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving soon. And the fun doesn’t stop there! Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every month and a half.
