Marvel Rivals Reveals New Skin for Invisible Woman

Summary

  • Marvel Rivals' Season 1, launching January 10th, introduces Malice, the first new skin for Invisible Woman.
  • This skin embodies Invisible Woman's darker, villainous persona from the comics.
  • Season 1 also includes new maps, a game mode, and an expansive battle pass.

Marvel Rivals is thrilled to announce the arrival of Malice, a brand-new skin for Invisible Woman, debuting alongside Season 1 on January 10th at 1 AM PST. This exciting update brings more than just cosmetics; players can anticipate new maps, a fresh game mode, and a substantial battle pass.

Comic book fans will recognize Malice as the embodiment of Sue Storm's darker side. This alternate persona, known for villainous actions and conflicts with her family, adds a compelling layer to the character. The Malice skin reflects this darker side, offering a visually striking contrast to Invisible Woman's usual appearance.

NetEase Games showcased Malice in a recent Twitter clip, highlighting the skin's design: a revealing black leather and red accented costume, complete with spiked mask, shoulders, and thigh-high boots, and a dramatic split red cape. This skin, reminiscent of Mister Fantastic's Maker skin, promises a thrilling new aesthetic for players.

A recent gameplay trailer highlighted Invisible Woman's strategic abilities. Her kit focuses on support, offering healing and protective shields to allies. Her ultimate ability creates an invisible healing zone, offering protection from ranged attacks. Despite her support role, she also possesses offensive capabilities, including an ability to knock back enemies using a created tunnel.

NetEase Games revealed that seasons will run approximately three months, with major mid-season updates around six to seven weeks in. These updates will introduce new maps, characters (including Human Torch and The Thing), and balance adjustments. With Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman launching alongside Season 1, and further content arriving mid-season, Marvel Rivals promises a dynamic and engaging experience for players.
