Get ready for a major crossover event! NetEase's popular hero shooter, Marvel Rivals, is teaming up with several top Marvel mobile games: Marvel Puzzle Quest, Marvel Future Fight, and Marvel Snap. The collaboration kicks off January 3rd, and while details are scarce, expect big things!
The news was initially shared on Twitter. This isn't NetEase's first foray into Marvel mobile; earlier this month, Marvel Snap featured a season highlighting lesser-known Rivals characters like Galacta and Peni Parker.
A New Kind of Rival
While calling Marvel Rivals an "Overwatch killer" might be an overstatement, its popularity is undeniable. This crossover cleverly leverages that popularity to boost the mobile Marvel games, a refreshing change from the typical console/PC-to-mobile crossover.
The collaboration is especially fitting given that Luna Snow, a key character in Marvel Rivals, first appeared in Marvel Future Fight before entering the comics. Given NetEase's recent holiday success, we anticipate a significant crossover event.
