Niantic's announcement confirms the legendary duo's appearance during the GO Tour: Unova event, scheduled for March 1st and 2nd, from 10 AM to 6 PM local time. Trainers can encounter Black and White Kyurem in raids and attempt to catch their elusive shiny counterparts.
Kyurem Fusion: Unleash New Power!
Similar to last year's Necrozma fusion event, players can fuse Kyurem with other legendary Pokemon:
- Black Kyurem: Fuse with Zekrom using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy. Learns the move Freeze Shock.
- White Kyurem: Fuse with Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy. Learns the move Ice Burn.
Fusion is reversible at no cost. The necessary Fusion Energy is earned by defeating Kyurem in raids.
Exclusive Event Backgrounds Await!
Complete the fusion process with either Black or White Kyurem to unlock unique backgrounds inspired by Pokemon Black and White. Unlocking both fusions grants access to an additional, special background.
