After Four Years of Launch, Alchemy Stars Shutting Down and Getting an Offline Version

Alchemy Stars is shutting down its online services on January 24th, 2025, but not before offering players a special offline version. This allows players to replay the story and retain their progress.

Shutdown Date and Offline Transition:

The game's online servers will cease operation on January 24th, 2025. A crucial maintenance period will occur on January 10th, from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT, to implement version 1.43.0, which includes the offline save feature.

Saving Your Game Progress:

After the January 10th maintenance, update your game to access the local data save function. This is a one-time opportunity to preserve your progress. A save button will be located on the main game screen. You can save multiple times, but the deadline is January 24th at 4:00 GMT. Unsaved data will be lost permanently.

Offline Version Limitations:

The offline version will be a static experience; no further updates will be released. Deleting the app will result in permanent data loss, and re-downloading will not be possible. However, the offline version will allow you to revisit the story, upgrade units, and interact with your saved data.

Final Thoughts:

While a complete shutdown would have been more drastic, the offline version offers a chance to preserve your in-game achievements. Download Alchemy Stars from the Google Play Store before its online services end.
