During a recent "Ask Me (almost) Anything" session on inZOI's Discord, team leads addressed fan questions about the game's realism, including those concerning explicit content. Assistant Director Joel Lee explained the game's approach to intimacy: "There is a feature where…the male and female Zois are together, likely in bed, with the intention of creating babies. How visually apparent is that? That's where you have to use your imagination. What you see isn't explicitly shown; you have to infer what's happening. It's there, sort of. Maybe not to the level everyone expected."
This suggests a suggestive, rather than explicit, depiction of intimacy, prioritizing accessibility to a wider audience. The approach aims for a more realistic feel compared to the more cartoonish style of similar games.
Technical Challenges with Blurring Effects
The developers explained the Zois' perpetually towel-clad showering scenes stem from challenges with blurring effects.
