A Powerful New Weapon: The Switch Axe
Season 4 introduces the versatile Switch Axe. This two-in-one weapon boasts powerful Axe Mode for long-range strikes and a devastating Sword Mode for close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing the pre-season story in Chapter 2.
Customizable Palico Companions
Hunters now receive their own customizable Palico companions! Personalize their fur color, facial features, and even give them the most outlandish names you can imagine. AR enthusiasts can even bring their custom Palico into the real world for some memorable photos.
Friend Cheering: A Helping Hand
Season 4 introduces Friend Cheering, adding a collaborative element to the hunt. Send cheers to your friends to provide them with a temporary health boost for the day. Note that there's a limit to the amount of health boosts achievable through cheers.
