Sony and Santa Monica Studio have unveiled the Dark Odyssey collection, a free update for God of War Ragnarök arriving next week. This update features in-game equipment themed after one of the franchise's most iconic outfits, a stylish black-and-gold aesthetic. The update, part of God of War's 20th-anniversary celebration, is available for both PlayStation 5 and PC players.
Dark Odyssey offers cosmetic sets for Kratos, Atreus, and Freya, along with various weapon and shield appearances. The highlight is a Kratos appearance and armor set reminiscent of a God Mode reward from God of War II. Players can acquire this content from any Lost Items chest in the main game or directly in Ragnarök's Valhalla mode after the update launches on March 20th. The update also introduces the ability to customize Kratos' weapon appearances without affecting their abilities.
