The gaming world is back in full swing after the holiday break, and we have some exciting news! While we're all still waiting on Nintendo Switch 2 news, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled fresh gameplay footage and details for the highly anticipated Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
The showcased gameplay highlighted extensive ship customization, open-world sea exploration, thrilling naval battles, engaging mini-games, and a diverse range of explorable locations. Goro Majima will feature two distinct combat styles: a nimble, speed-oriented approach and a more tactical style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.
Players can assemble a unique crew of allies to aid in combat, exploration, and treasure hunting. The game promises hidden islands brimming with secrets and original side quests to uncover.
A significant announcement came at the presentation's close: the "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch! This is a welcome change from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where this mode was initially exclusive to the premium edition, drawing criticism from SEGA. This positive development means we only have about six weeks to wait for the official release.
