The Mandalorian and Grogu will embark on a new mission aboard Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, launching May 22, 2026, alongside The Mandalorian & Grogu movie. Jon Favreau, alongside Imagineers Leslie Evans and Asa Kalama, shared concept art showcasing locations like Tatooine's Jawa Sandcrawler, the Millennium Falcon and Razor Crest near Bespin's Cloud City, and even the wreckage of the second Death Star above Endor. This new story, filmed on The Mandalorian & Grogu set, will unfold parallel to, but not directly retell, the film's events. Additionally, the popular BDX droids will expand to Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris, with a new Anzellan droid, Otto, joining the ranks. These droids will also appear in The Mandalorian & Grogu.

Pixar's Pete Docter and Imagineer Michael Hundgen detailed the innovative ride vehicles for the new Cars-themed land at Magic Kingdom. To create an emotionally resonant experience, Imagineers designed a completely new type of vehicle, undergoing extensive testing in the Arizona desert and on a custom-built dirt track.
