Oni Masks: Abilities & Types

Void Oni Mask: Offers superior mobility. Throw a Void Tear (Shoot button), then teleport to it (Aim button while mask is equipped). Epic variant: 15 uses, 5-second cooldown. Mythic variant: 50 uses.

Fire Oni Mask: Inflicts damage. Press the Fire button to launch a guided flame projectile dealing 100 damage. Can hit multiple nearby enemies. Epic variant: 8 uses, 8-second cooldown. Mythic variant: 16 uses.
How to Acquire Oni Masks

Elemental Chests: The most straightforward method. These chests guarantee an elemental item, including Oni Masks (though which mask is random). Located throughout the island, with higher chances in named POIs.

Defeating Demon Warriors: These enemies, marked by an Oni Mask icon on the map, sometimes drop either a Void or Fire Oni Mask (depending on which they wield). They may also drop Typhoon Blades and Boons.

Regular Chests: A chance to find Epic rarity Oni Masks, but relies heavily on luck.

Purchase from Daigo (Masked Meadows): A guaranteed method. Purchase both masks using Gold Bars after completing all stages of Daigo's Mask Expertise Quests.

Daigo's Hidden Workshop (Masked Meadows): Another guaranteed method. Locate the hidden workshop below the building on the north side of Masked Meadows. Loot the machine there for both masks.

Defeating Bosses (Mythic Masks Only): Defeat Night Rose (Demon's Dojo) for the Mythic Void Oni Mask, or Shogun X (Shogun's Arena) for the Mythic Fire Oni Mask. These function identically to their Epic counterparts but have more uses.
