Grove Street Games, Snail Games, and Studio Wildcard have released a significant update for ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition, introducing the massive Ragnarok expansion map. This is a substantial upgrade for existing players, adding a vast new area to explore.
The Ragnarok Map: A Prehistoric Playground
The Ragnarok expansion boasts a sprawling 144 square kilometers of diverse prehistoric landscapes. Expect new biomes, fearsome creatures, and the ever-present threat of an active volcano. Adding to the excitement, the Love Evolved event runs until February 16th, 2025, injecting a touch of romance into the survival experience.
Ragnarok introduces towering peaks, expansive forests, intricate caverns, and the aforementioned volcano, creating a visually stunning and challenging environment. New creatures add to the adventure, including the Ice Wyvern, Dire Polar Bears, and the formidable Griffon, whose dive-bomb attack offers a thrilling new combat tactic.
The Ragnarok map is included with the ARK Pass in the Ultimate Mobile Edition. However, it's also available as a standalone purchase for those who don't own the pass. Regardless of how you access it, prepare for an adventure blending elements from The Island and Scorched Earth maps.
Love Evolved Event: A Prehistoric Romance
For the first time on mobile, ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition features a romantic event. The Love Evolved event offers exclusive Valentine's-themed cosmetics, candy, and chocolates. It also provides boosted rates for harvesting, taming, experience gain, and breeding, making survival and progression smoother.
