Machine Yearning: A Brain-Bending Robot Job Simulator from Tiny Little Keys
This isn't your average human job; it's a robotic one! Tiny Little Keys' debut game, Machine Yearning, challenges players to outsmart a robot-designed CAPTCHA system, proving their human ingenuity in a world dominated by machines.
Tiny Little Keys, an American studio founded by former Google Machine Learning Engineer Daniel Ellis, is launching Machine Yearning on September 12th.
What is Machine Yearning?
Machine Yearning throws you into the role of a human applying for a typically robotic job. You'll face a CAPTCHA designed to identify humans, requiring sharp memory and processing speed (think 2005-era computing power!). The game starts with simple word-shape associations, progressively increasing in difficulty with added words and colors, demanding players retain complex links.
Successfully completing the challenges allows you to customize your robots with a variety of hats – archers, cowboys, and even straw hats! See a preview below:
Will You Play It?
Originally showcased at Ludum Dare, Machine Yearning won awards for "most fun" and "most innovative" game. Learn more on the official website.
Available September 12th on Android, this free-to-play game promises a challenging and potentially mind-sharpening experience. (Though we don't guarantee it'll turn your brain into a supercomputer!)
