‘Dungeons of Dreadrock 2’ Announced, Launching on Nintendo Switch in November with Mobile and PC Versions to Follow

Approximately two and a half years ago, developer Christoph Minnameier gifted us the delightful dungeon crawler, Dungeons of Dreadrock. This top-down perspective game, reminiscent of classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, stood out with its puzzle-focused level design. Its 100 unique levels, each a floor in a sprawling dungeon, challenged players to rescue their captured brother. The difficulty was notable, with some levels resembling intricate logic puzzles, requiring careful timing of traps and strategic enemy encounters. Our review lauded the game, and its subsequent releases across numerous platforms mirrored this positive reception. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel.

The vibrant red background, prominent Switch logo, and familiar snap sound confirm that Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret will debut on Nintendo Switch first. The game's website reveals a November 28th, 2024 eShop launch. PC gamers can rejoice, as a Steam version is planned and currently wishlisted. Mobile players on iOS and Android can also anticipate a release, though a specific date remains unannounced. We'll provide updates as further platform release dates are confirmed.
