Levels II, the sequel to the 2016 hit Levels, is a minimalist dungeon crawler RPG puzzle game now available on Android. Strategic Dungeon Crawling
The game presents you with a dungeon teeming with treasures, but your path is blocked by monsters. To succeed, you'll need to level up your adventurers, devise clever strategies, and battle your way through.
Gameplay Mechanics
You manage a grid of colored tiles: blue (adventurers), yellow (treasure), and red (monsters). Unlike the original's random tile generation, Levels II introduces a system where tile color and level are influenced by your moves. Defeating a red tile, for example, often spawns a yellow tile.
Beyond Simple Merging
Levels II transcends the simple merging mechanics of its predecessor. While you still merge blue tiles, collect yellow ones, and battle red ones, the goal extends beyond reaching level 9. Strategic choices and planning are key to maximizing your rewards. Familiar elements like the Thunder Stone (for when you're stuck) and hidden panels with unique patterns remain.
