Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, including a challenge rewarding players with a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.
What is Recursive Destruction?
Recursive Destruction is a new mechanic in Marvel Rivals. It involves destroying Dracula-influenced objects that then reappear in their original form. Not all destructible objects trigger this; only those highlighted in red when viewed through Chrono Vision.
Accessing Chrono Vision
Chrono Vision is activated using the "B" key on PC and the right D-pad button on consoles. This highlights destructible objects on the map.
Triggering Recursive Destruction in Midtown
To complete the challenge, play Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be available. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, capable of triggering Recursive Destruction. Destroy these buildings multiple times to complete the challenge. The frantic nature of the match might obscure the objects' reappearance, but repeated strikes should suffice. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match.
Completing Subsequent Challenges
After triggering Recursive Destruction, focus on the next challenges, which involve using the new characters, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
