Boosting your character's power in Dynasty Warriors: Origins? Gems are your answer! These equippable items provide passive benefits, significantly aiding higher difficulty gameplay. This guide details gem crafting, upgrading, and maximizing your chances of obtaining specific gems.

How To Craft & Level Up Gems in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Gem creation utilizes Pyroxene and occurs at any in-game inn or tent. Access the "Create Gems" option (second from the top in your room menu). You can use Pyroxene to craft gems at a 1:1 ratio. Five unique gems are craftable, with each Pyroxene yielding a random gem.

Initially crafted at level 1, gems can be equipped via the Battle Preparations menu. Crafting duplicates grants experience, leveling up the base gem and enhancing its effects. For a broad approach, use all Pyroxene at once for random gem creation and leveling.

For targeted gem acquisition, utilize the "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" effect. Crafting a single gem triggers a chance to activate this effect, limiting the random gem selection for subsequent Pyroxene use. This effect can be reset by exiting and re-entering the crafting menu. While time-consuming, crafting individually increases your odds of activating "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" for your desired gem. Note that "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" reduces randomness but doesn't eliminate it entirely.

Here's a list of craftable gems:

Gem Name Passive Boost Oblivion Gem Expands attack range. Vortex Gem Boosts damage to airborne enemies. Scorch Gem Increases damage against parried enemies. Wellspring Gem Restores health for every 100 defeated enemies. Ascendance Gem Chance to automatically block enemy officer attacks.

Where To Find Pyroxene in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Pyroxene, represented by orange crystals, randomly spawns across the overworld. Collecting a crystal yields one Pyroxene. Completing skirmishes or battles causes some Pyroxene to respawn, encouraging exploration of previously visited areas. Letters found in your inn or tent room may occasionally contain Pyroxene.
