Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game, developed by Sad Cat Studios, has faced multiple postponements, now projected to launch in 2026.
Previously, a 2025 release date was announced by Sad Cat, who described the game's development as uniquely challenging. The game's journey has been marked by delays in 2023 and again last year. Despite these setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-tier product, fueled by the considerable anticipation surrounding Replaced.
First unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's E3 presentation, Replaced has generated significant buzz. While Sad Cat has yet to officially address this latest delay, they have maintained communication with fans, offering glimpses of gameplay, including combat footage and a mini-game showcased earlier this year.
