TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title combines the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements, promising a highly replayable experience. The Steam page highlights features such as 10 dynamically generated biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and much more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is available for free on mobile. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release aligns with the Steam and Switch versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it appears to be perfectly suited for short bursts of play. In the meantime, the original Coromon is available for free on iOS. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far? Have you played the original Coromon?
