Clash of Clans Is Going to Make Big Changes with Its March 2025 Update

Clash of Clans is preparing for a massive update in March 2025, addressing long-standing player requests and removing several outdated mechanics. This update marks one of the most significant changes in the game's history.

No More Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!

Get ready for back-to-back attacks without the wait! This update eliminates troop, spell, and siege machine training times, creating a much faster-paced battle experience. Hero recovery time is also removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change applies to players in Titan League and below; the Legend League will retain its eight-battle daily limit for now. This change builds on the removal of training costs in 2022, further streamlining gameplay and removing artificial barriers.

Adjustments to Accompany the Changes

With the removal of training times, Training Potions and Training Treats become obsolete. These items will be phased out, removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining potions and treats in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

Introducing the New Match Anytime System!

A new Match Anytime system ensures continuous gameplay. When real bases are unavailable, you can now attack snapshot bases—saved versions of shielded player bases. These battles function like normal attacks, awarding loot and trophies, but the defender incurs no losses. This system, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.

Further Tweaks and Improvements

To balance the increased battle frequency, trophy rewards per victory are being adjusted. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized to 10 minutes for all players.
