Civilization VII Free Updates
Firaxis is committed to ongoing free updates based on player feedback. Initial updates will focus on balance adjustments, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. Beyond that, the development team prioritizes these features:
- Multiplayer team support for co-op gameplay.
- Expansion to 8-player multiplayer across all ages, enhanced by Distant Land system refinements.
- Player-selectable starting and ending ages for single or double-age games.
- A wider variety of map types.
- Hotseat multiplayer.
