Get ready, Zombies fans! Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is adding a brand-new map to its thrilling round-based survival mode. Prepare for the Mansion!
Black Ops 6 Welcomes a New Zombies Map: The Mansion
Say Goodbye to Amalgams (Maybe)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s fifth new Zombies map is almost here. A sneak peek, courtesy of the official Call of Duty (X) Twitter and Treyarch Studios' X account (March 12, 2025), shows a dilapidated mansion—flames licking at its walls, wrecked vehicles smoldering nearby, and ominous black smoke billowing from within.
The accompanying caption reads: "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" along with the #Zombies hashtag. The return of Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a key figure in Call of Duty: Cold War (and a significant character in this Cold War remake), is a welcome sight.
Sharp-eyed fans have identified the location as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, February 1991, as indicated on the teaser image. This timeline seamlessly follows the narrative of Black Ops 6’s previous Zombies map, The Tomb, setting the stage for a thrilling continuation.
Here's a game-changer: Treyarch confirmed on their Instagram account that this map will be Amalgam-free (or at least significantly reduced). A fan commented about anticipating hordes of Amalgams, to which Treyarch simply replied, "Nope." This news will be a relief to players who found these high-health, hard-hitting Elite enemies particularly challenging. Prepare for a potentially smoother, less-brutal experience in this new location.
