Starfield players have much to anticipate this year. On March 7th, 2025, the official Starfield Twitter (X) account teased exciting plans for the game. While specifics remain under wraps, the developers confirmed they're actively working on new content and features, promising significant additions for 2025. They emphasized their commitment to incorporating player feedback into these updates.
This announcement follows Game Director Todd Howard's June 2024 interview with MrMattyPlays, where he expressed hopes for yearly DLC releases for Starfield. This suggests the recent announcement may indeed hint at another substantial DLC expansion.
Starfield's Post-Launch Journey
Launched in 2023 to critical acclaim and mixed reviews, Starfield nevertheless became a top seller. Initial feedback highlighted differences from previous Bethesda titles like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.
Since release, several updates have addressed gameplay mechanics and added new content.
