Mac and GOG users will not have access to this test. Registration is currently open.
A key focus of the stress test is cross-platform play. Larian acknowledges the complexity of implementing crossplay in a game of Baldur's Gate 3's scale and encourages player participation to thoroughly test this new feature. Players are invited to recruit friends or join groups via the Larian Studios Discord server for cooperative crossplay campaigns.
While Patch 8 marks the final major update for Baldur's Gate 3, Larian reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing support, particularly for modders. Significant updates are planned to enhance modding tools, empowering players to create and share their own narratives. Since the September release of official mod tools, the community has already downloaded over 70 million modules and uploaded over 3,000 mods.
