Ubisoft has announced another delay for Assassin's Creed Shadows, pushing the release date back to March 20, 2025. Initially slated for a February 14th, 2025 launch, this latest postponement adds a further five weeks to the development timeline. The publisher cites the need to integrate player feedback to enhance the overall game experience.
The game's initial delay, announced in September 2024, shifted the launch from November 15th, 2024 to February 14th, 2025. While the first delay was attributed to development challenges related to historical accuracy, this second delay prioritizes incorporating player feedback.
Marc-Alexis Coté, Vice President Executive Producer of the Assassin's Creed franchise, emphasized Ubisoft's commitment to delivering a high-quality, immersive experience. He stated that the additional time allows for further refinement and polishing, echoing the rationale behind the previous delay.
