Asphalt Legends Unite is teaming up with LEGO, bringing the iconic toy line's Technic car kits to the virtual racetrack. This collaboration follows previous unusual partnerships, such as the Lamborghini Movember event, but this one is truly unique. LEGO Technic kits, known for their challenging builds and authentic details, will now be playable in the game.
The collaboration kicks off with the LEGO Technic Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, available both as a real-world kit and in-game. To celebrate, a limited-time Collector Mode event runs until March 23rd. This event challenges players across all platforms and regions to collect LEGO Technic disks scattered throughout San Francisco in a special single-player race.
While some purists might initially resist the addition of "toys" to a racing simulator, the intricate detail and engineering involved in LEGO Technic sets appeal to a broad audience, inspiring both budding and experienced hobbyists. These kits boast authentic features like moving engines and differentials.
The best part? Select LEGO Technic car sets will include a download code to unlock their virtual counterparts in Asphalt Legends Unite. Build your car in the real world, then race it in the game!
